ABeam Consulting Receives 11th Consecutive SAP Award of Excellence

Global Consulting firm recognized in three categories

TOKYO, JAPAN – March 18, 2008 – ABeam Consulting, a leading global provider of business transformation services, has been honored in three categories with the SAP® Award of Excellence 2008. Bestowed by SAP Japan, the award recognizes SAP partners that exemplify excellence.

This marks the 11th consecutive year that SAP honors ABeam in the Service Partner Category, and the 9th Project Award for ABeam and its clients. ABeam, which has implemented SAP solutions for more 200 companies Japan alone, has earned more awards than any other service provider since the inception of the Award of Excellence program.

ABeam received awards in the following categories:

Service Partner. The Service Partner Award is given based on results from SAP’s independent customer satisfaction survey. The survey rates service providers on a variety of quality, cost and value factors. ABeam has earned this award for the 11th consecutive year.

Project Award. The 9th Project Award for ABeam, this year recognizes Sumitomo Osaka Cement Co., Ltd. for ABeam’s conceptual design, operational Improvements, and project management methods in the restructuring of its accounting and purchasing systems. ABeam shares this award with NEC Corp, where they worked jointly on the first ABeam project to use SAP for a client in the cement industry.

APJ Best SAP Enterprise SOA Implementation. ABeam earned the Best Enterprise SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) Partner in the Asia Pacific Japan Region for its innovative design of a Global Template incorporating SAP’s NetWeaver ‘s 7.0-based Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), resulting in the successful standardization of business processes. Mitsui Knowledge Industry Co., Ltd., ABeam’s partner on this project, is a co-winner of this award.
